Pray For Me

We get busy, we overcommit, we get tired and we forget to ask for help…we all do it. I do it. We were built for community, for relationship and we need each other more than we like to admit sometimes. Me too…

Scripture teaches us in 1 Timothy 2:1, “Most of all, I’m writing to encourage you to pray with gratitude to God. Pray for all men with all forms of prayers and requests as you intercede with intense passion. TPT” We are called to pray for one another. We all have a thing or two we could be praying about and so do those around us.

So as I prepare for what is ahead for me this week I knew I could press through and write a Blog but…I felt it would be more productive to bring you into this equation.  I am getting ready to see my son through a very long and difficult surgery on Thursday. A lot is on my plate for the next several weeks as he recovers. So instead of pushing myself to write this week I decided to call upon those who read this Blog to help me…

I am asking for prayer. I could use it and he could absolutely use it. Matthew 18:19 tells us, “Again, I give you an eternal truth: If two of you agree to ask God for something in a symphony of prayer, my heavenly Father will do it for you.” If we agree together in prayer God can do great things. Our intercession is important and needed.

When we come together in prayer, in agreement, in community the power of our prayer is multiplied exponentially. We highly underestimate the necessity and the power of our prayer to God. Communication is a vital part of any relationship and our relationship with God is no different. He loves us and desires to hear from us. Not only for a request but simply to talk to us and hear our hearts.

So if you would pray for Neil, for our family and this delicate situation. I love and am grateful for each of you that support me in reading my Blog. It’s for you and those like you that I write. It blesses me to hear how something I write ministers to you in some way. Your prayers and thoughts will do that same for me!

Thanks for being a part of my journey in sharing my writing with you all and for praying for us!

 All my love

 Torey
